BYU Vocal Point has been described as an "optical illusion for your ears." Their inventive a cappella style, innovative arrangements, and incredible vocal percussion continue to wow audiences everywhere. They have performed before millions on national television on NBC's The Sing-Off, in concerts, and on YouTube.com.

While Vocal Point showcases mostly popular songs from yesterday and today in their concerts, the group always includes a few hymns and inspirational songs. Now for the first time, Vocal Point's music of praise and worship is featured exclusively on its own album.

I'm guessing about the rating. I bought this
CD for a Christmas Gift, and didn't actually
listen to itself, but I am a fan of Vocal Point
so assumed it would be good.

These voices are hauntingly beautiful. The music has layers and depths that strike every chord of the soul. It lingers in your mind and heart like a gentle breeze or sweet memory.

    Music for the soul.

This was great music! The voices were so good with the close harmony. I needed some spiritual music to listen to and this fit the bill.

I became acquainted with this group through a Youtube presentation of "Danny Boy." I was so moved by not only their musicianship, but the heartfelt soul given each word. I have been a church musician myself for over 40 years, and a bit "jaded," when it comes to hymn performances of any kind. But these young men have breathed new life into my soul! I have only had the CD for four days, but have probably played it over 50 times! I got back on the BYU site immediately and ordered more of their CD's....I just can't get enough of this talented group. If you are on the fence about buying one of their CD's, get out your wallet, you will not be disappointed....you will be lifted to a new "high" like you've never had before!
