Description

Utah-born Arthur Shepherd was the founding assistant conductor of the Cleveland Orchestra and one of the Mountain West's brightest musicians. The focus here is Shepherd's skill as a composer. His works are collected here thanks to a grant from the Heritage Series and the energies of his friend and contemporary, pianist Grant Johannesen.
